Bespoke Crown
This bespoke service is where you can post me your fabric and I can make it into a crown.
This could be vintage fabric, fabric left over from a wedding dress, fabric left over from an altered dress and you’d like a matching crown or even a scarf that never gets worn and needs a new life.
Please see fabric requirements for each size of crown.
Fabric must be at least these dimensions:
Classic: 4.5 inches by 26 inches or 9 inches by 13 inches
Midi: 12 inches by 14 inches or 6 inches by 28 inches.
Lace Appliqué Midi Crown: Fabric 12 inches by 14 inches or 6 inches by 28 inches. Crown will be midi sized. Lace appliqué separate from this main fabric. Long and narrow works best. Price difference for time to detach lace appliqué gently, work out the design of it on the crown and then attach appliqué to fabric. Message me you aren’t sure what is best.
Please note to be midi there needs to be some structural feel to the fabric. Please avoid very heavy fabrics. Very sheer fabrics I suggest doubling the fabric to have as a double layer. If in doubt do email me first photos to show me.
The postage paid covers me sending you back your crown. You’re required to cover the cost of posting the fabric to me. Once paid I’ll follow up with an email of the address of my studio to post to. The cost difference to my normal crowns is to reflect the individual washing of fabrics, sewing materials and time spend creating one-off pieces.
If you would like a Giant sized crown please email me first at flybynightnyc@gmail.com so that I can approve your fabric before I make it as it requires a little more structure. I will then active the setting on the site for purchase.
